“If you know me at all then you know my love for GCISD runs deep, and I am thrilled that my friend and fellow Bransford Elementary PTA mom is running to serve on our school board. Dalia Begin is a brilliant leader, a gift to all who know her and I am confident that she will add tremendous depth and value to our board. She is a fair and pragmatic leader with no agenda other than to be a voice for all kids. She’s also one of few people I would say yes to joining the pta exec board while heavily pregnant with my fourth child, which I did without hesitation the year Dalia served as president.

Fellow GCISD parents, I encourage you to get to know Dalia and what she stands for, because you’ll know instantly what a gift she will be to our beloved district.” ❤️💙

“If you know this lady, then you know. For those of you who have not had the pleasure, let me tell you, she is quite possibly the most capable person I’ve ever met. She is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to our schools, is no nonsense, tenacious and cares deeply about our kiddos and values their educational opportunities. I’ve never seen anyone who better utilizes their time to accomplish so much. I am not only happy to support her in this new endeavor but am excited about it. I know she will accomplish great things for the district.” – Denise Kapler, GCISD Parent

“I met Dalia when I was just a college freshman and she volunteered as an advisor for Alpha Chi Omega, Epsilon Lambda at UTA. Dalia’s ability to command a room, lead with empathy and make tough decisions has always inspired me. It has been 17 years since we first met and I have witnessed her hard work, dedication, and discipline as she’s taken on new leadership roles professionally, as a volunteer and in her personal life. Through witnessing her passion for community development and her natural leadership skills I have come to appreciate her for so much more. Dalia’s ability to actively take on volunteer leadership roles amazes me whether it’s for charity, in her professional life or for the school PTA while balancing all the responsibilities of a growing family and a successful business executive. On a personal note, I have looked up to her for so many reasons but mainly because I see in her a burning desire to always do BETTER, to help MORE, and to serve GREATER with a level of excellence and resourcefulness that is SO rare.

In short, Dalia is exactly the type of leader anyone should want making equitable decisions for the future and for their children’s education.” – May Usman, Arlington, TX
